There are three main stages to getting your NHS prescriptions delivered to your door.
- GP issuing the prescription
This usually takes between 48-72 hours - Pharmacy dispensing your medication
As soon as we receive a prescription it is typically processed and dispatched within 24hours. - Delivery
Orders are dispatched by a tracked 48 hour service, so should reach you within 2 business days of dispatch
The total time between requesting and receiving your medication is expected to be 7 days. You should aim to order 10 days in advance to account for any delivery delays or issues with the GP approving your prescription.
